Worst flying experience ever.

A friend of mine is on his way to NY with his gf for a week or so. They were supposed to fly out of LA on sunday at like 7 pm the plane was delayed like 4 hours and then delayed indefinitely so they were given a hotel room and booked on a flight to ohio and then to NY. Supposed to get in 9 pm tonight NY time.

Just heard from him and there isn't an ohio flight til tomorrow so far. So so far he is like 36 hours late getting to NY and had reservations so he is paying for the room tonight without using. Oh and his gf's luggage is now lost.

Sucks to be him, and the airline hasn't offered a reimbursement or some kinda compensation either.

That would have to be my return flight from Japan this past January. On the decent, a baby to my right was crying her lungs out and everyone was complaining about that. After we landed, 2 rows in front and to my left another kid was puking in the barf bag - he actually overflowed it and it was in the aisle. The flight attendants were in the back oblivious to what was going on so I went back there and told them a kid threw up. After I told them, they called someone to look into it - then the mother of the kid brings the bag to the back area. I couldn't escape! By that time, the vomit stench was already in my nose and I couldn't get it out. So I got my bag and walked around the right side of the plane to leave - the rest of the suckers had to step over the overflowing throw up to exit the airplane.

I'll never fly American International (coach) to japan ever again!

worst ever,/?

had to be the people that were on the planes that hit the World Trade center.

any landing you can walk away from is a good one.😉

That's isn't a bad flying experience, that's just frustrating and to be expected now and then. A bad flying experience involves something wrong with the plane and an emergency landing.

and any landing where you can use the plane again is a great one 🙂

I believe you have to live through something for it to be an experience, so WTC doesn't really apply here. And if they had had an emergency landing they probably would have been there by now or would have been compensated for it.

lame. something similar happened to me as well a few years back, but the airline was nice and put me up in a hotel, etc. and yeah, they lost my luggage of course, but someone came by where i was staying to deliver it when it was found.
