Worst Case Scenario: You decide to take a new job (out of state)

What is the Worst Case Scenario that you can think of? Be sure to explain your answers. You might say that the world will end, but you have to explain how that could possibly come about, and it must be semi-plausible.


WCS: You get there only to have your new employer fire you before your first day and refuses to pay relocating costs.

You get there, get fired. The next day you go to work for a defense contractor and invent a doomsday device which accidentally detonates while you test it. All life on earth is destroyed.

You dont get there. You die in a massive wreck on the freeway. And your wife starts dating the tennis instructor in your absence.

Actually, the worst case I can think of is that the job is Okay, but not great, the people you meet are okay, but not great, the money is so-so, and you get stuck in it all for the rest of your boring, meaningless life.

WCS: you get to work and find that you are allowed to hire anyone you want for your personal assistant. One day, a fine young thing strolls in and before she even says a word you hire her. The next day you die from SARS because you had to relocate to Toronto.
