Tuesdays with Morrie. I know a lot of people like it, but I hate it. I've made it a point to avoid all Mitch Albom's books after reading this one.

I liked the book but after reading it I thought it was a little too idealistic.

The Iron Tower series by Dennis McKiernan. It's such a verbatim ripoff of LOTR, it makes Sword of Shannara look original. After reading it, I'm honestly baffled that the Tolkien estate hasn't taken everything this clown owns.
