Worried about processor after heat problem

Hi, I know this is probably a bit on the paranoid side, but I am worried about damage to my P4 2.0A GHz CPU after prolonged heat. I live in a warm environment, with the room temperature at about 87 degrees Farenheit daily, even at night. My CPU was run for at least two weeks, about 8 hours a day, at full load. Intel's Active Monitor shows my CPU temperature between 130 - 140 degrees Farenheit during these periods of high load. I am concerned about damage to the processor. Is there some way to test if my processor was damaged? I have read the articles at www.tomshardware.com about the P4's ability to sucessfully cope with high heat, but I am still concerned.

Thanks!

oh yeah, I also have 256 RDRAM and two Western Digital UATA100 at 7200 rpm hard drives, which add greatly to the system temperature... I added a case fan which lowered the average system temperature by about 10 degrees F, but the average system temperature is at about ~120 degrees F.

P4s are designed to 'throttle down' if they overheat. I've never read a post where a processor only partially worked so if you are able to run anything (games, etc.) its fine, don't worry over it..............
