Worried about my OC

Ive been tweaking my FX 6100 and finally found a rock solid 3.9 GHZ oc,at 1.35.

Now im kinda worried about temperatures, since at stock with turbo on the cpu reaches about 37 celsius when playing BF 3.

Oced it peaks at about 42.

Im worried that come summer when all hell breaks loose im gonna go into the danger zone with it.

With a room ambient of about 35 celsius,do you guys think il be safe in the summer ? how close can i safely get to that 70 celsius recommended temp posted by AMD ?

Those temps are fine. The max temp is around 100c

42 degrees is a dream. There probably won't be any issues in the summer either (though I don't know how hot summers get in your location). You could probably even push that CPU further.

That is, if the temp readings are accurate. AMD FX CPUs have been known to report weird temperatures.

Well CoreTemp says my TJmax is 83 degrees.

So as long as i operate under that im pretty safe yeah ?

I mean that post refers mainly to intel, im guessing AMD operates the same when it comes to warranty/temps/lifetime ?
