So his computer has been up for about a year now. The thing im worried about is that his PSU is gona go bad soon and that it is going to cause some damage? When psu's go out, do they usually break anything?

The psu he has is the one that came in this case (hes using the case too...)

Enermax is a fairly decent brand?

its running an athlon 64 3000 socket 939, 1gb of pc3200, two hd's, two opt. drives, and a 7600gt all at stock, along with 4 or so case fans and some lights

what do you think? should i convince him to upgrade so i dont have to worry about paying for broken parts?

Why would you have to pay for broken parts?

TBH I don't trust PSUs that come bundled with cases, especially $50 cases.

i wouldnt have to pay for it, because we made an agreement at the time of the build. im just saying that i dont want to have to go through all the time and trouble of replacement and all
