For many years I have known this kid, let's call him "Bubba". Bubba was a nerd through most of his life, spent his time playing video games and what not, but always did okay in school. Then he hit the reefer and totally changed.

He has put on a lot of weight thanks to no longer exercising and eating a lot, which people give him crap for. He also has a term paper due from last year, that will prevent him from graduating. He is also failing a couple of other classes. He isn't a dumb kid by any means, but he is just incredibly lazy.

What should I do ATOT, introduce him to the womens?

Ha Ha

Somehow I doubt that. An introvert getting fat, made fun of, staying home alone and then failing at school will make him feel wonderful about himself.

To the OP, unfortunately there's not much you can do about it. I've got a brother that is the same way.
