If I recall correctly, Capri Sun was always 100% juice without preservatives or food coloring. That's why the pouch is opaque.

original capri sun:
WATER, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, APPLE AND GRAPE JUICE CONCENTRATES, CITRIC ACID, WATER, EXTRACTED ORANGE AND PINEAPPLE JUICE CONCENTRATES, NATURAL FLAVOR, VITAMIN E ACETATE

100% juice variety:
APPLE, GRAPE, AND CHERRY JUICES FROM CONCENTRATE (WATER; APPLE, CHERRY AND GRAPE JUICE CONCENTRATES); CITRIC ACID (FOR TARTNESS); NATURAL FLAVOR.

Which one of those ingredients is not natural?

Must be a tiny worm to go thru that straw. Beside quenching your thirst, you're getting some extra protein from the worm...what's the problem?

You guys should look up how many bugs you ingest in your sleep or what kind of sick things are allowable in certain amounts for all food and beverages by the FDA. Or worse, go work for a while in a restaurant and see how food is really prepared.

the factories are automated, so after all the filtering and piping i doubt a worm could just slip in and remain intact...

😵 I'd class water and high fructose corn syrup as "not juice".

Natural anyway. Water is necessary when the juice has been concentrated (had the water removed). Fructose is the same kind of sugar that's already in fruit...but sweet-addicted kids today want MORE.

Don't they usually list the ingredients by order of amount?

Slayer was talking about the second one. He said:
umm, you said 100% juice, not natural. even the 100% juice version isn't 100% juice

to which Ichinisan replied:
If those other ingredients are < 1%, then it's still 100% juice.

Citric Acid and Natural Flavor are very often less than 1%. Not only that, but they could also be from juice (Citric Acid being Vitamin C and Natural Flavor being potentially anything).

It could, in fact, be 100% juice even if the last two ingredients were much more than 100% because those ingredients can be juice as well. Got it?

I was looking at the original capri sun ingredients:

i used to freeze these when i was a kid, then cut the top open and dump it into a bowl and chip away at it with a spoon. so good.
