I wonder if it will fall off from the jack?

It looks as if the included earbuds have a clip that fastens onto the unit, preventing it from falling out.

When I first saw it, I was impressed with the size factor. But beyond that, so what? Functionally, that shape makes it impractical for me to keep in a pocket or have clipped to me when I workout.

I would, however, love to see it set up on a empty table, surrounded by some gigantic speakers. That would epitomize the minimalist deisgn concept. I'd buy it just to set that up!

It's only USB 1.1, so it would take forever to transfer a lot of big files in and out.

I think the battery life is about 10 hours to keep prices down for the Wal-Mart version. The ones from Korea have better battery lives.

I saw this sold under a different name in Japan by one of their major computer chain store. It was called the OZZIO musica CUBE and it was very small. Because of the different frequency range used for FM radio in Japan I did not get one there. But, it looks like I will be getting one. :)

Damn it, I was going to buy one tomorrow :(

Anyone know if it's sold in stores yet? I have about 5 Wal-Marts within an hour of me.

EDIT: Nevermind, "Exclusively at Walmart.com"

semi impressive. rather it be thin and long like the ipod shuffle so its less of a pocket wart. it does have all the features though. but size wise its only a fraction of an inch smaller then the shuffle once u consider volume. hopefully apple adds those features in the next flash player. and well fm recording if ur gonna have fm. there are some npr programs i sometimes wish i could record

More to the point, from what I understand, this is a perfect 1"x1"x1" cube. It seems to be this would be a fairly thick device in your pocket, and liable to poke you a lot too because of the cube design.:Q Still, I can't deny they were at least bothering to think of sexyness in designing it.

yea, it just has the problem that once you are past the sexiness the more u think about it, the less practical it becomes.
