GT-R vs everyone else's base model cars, wow shocking results...

Change the Boss to a 2012 GT500, the Z06 to a ZR1, 1M with a M5, etc I mean they have a LFA in there, its not like they were trying to keep the cars similarly priced against each other in the first place.

That would be like me racing a 4 cyl model of the GT-R if they made one against my Cobra.

Or the newest 911 Turbo with the dual clutch. I believe Motor trend did like a 2.7 0-60 in it and 6 0-100. I've been wanting to see a heads up comparo between it and the GT-R because of their hellacious launch abilities.

Take that one step farther, and have a 3 way shootout with the ZR-1, GT-R and a 911 Turbo, with a standing 1/4 mile and hot lap. I still think the GT-R would take the 1/4 mile but the lap would be a lot tighter of a race.

Fun video to watch and I loved hearing the different engines. Not worth much as an actual performance comparison though.

It wouldn't have made a difference. None of those cars can pull off 11.2 in the conditions that race was held. It's tough to beat a high power AWD launch unless you have DR's and a VHT covered track.

The only other car that could have competed with the GTR in this test is the 911T PDK and maybe the GT2 RS.
