It's just a shame that Koenigsegg needed top gear to tell them that their car needs more downforce. But indeed it is a fast car, pwr to weight ratio is amazing.

They're Swedes. By nature, cars are foreign to them. And this is what, their second car? I'd say one minor little blip like that, fixable with a single piece of carbon fiber in a span of a couple weeks is pretty ******' good.

It does have a speed limiter to restrict it to 253MPH for stability and to prevent tire damage. You'll have to call the factory to get someone out to remove it, along with giving you some special high speed tyres.

Actually, this is incorrect (although you wouldn't know it from the show).

Koenigsegg has multiple configurations available. The wing (which has been optional in every model including the CCX, CCR, CC8S, etc) actually does little. It does add some downforce at the expense of top speed.

The biggest 2 changes between the first and second Top Gear show were:

1. They adjusted the suspension/chassis for less oversteer.
2. The Stig didn't screw up the corner (yes, he is mortal and does make mistakes).

well actually, the veyron is a W16 not a V12 as it's basically two V8 engines together. and the veyron can probablly go faster but it is much rarer. and Bugatti loses money on every one. even at the price of $1.2 million. it's just to show that they can really.
