anyone else remember the Tyco-lead Yo-Yo craze of the mid-late 80s?
good times.
I was pretty decent at the yo-yo. It did make a comeback in the 80s. I probably had 20 yo-yos.
Oh, I think they were Duncan Yo-Yos that were so popular?
Yes, there were other yo-yos, but there is only one duncan. I even had a few fancy ones with ball bearings.
I also remember having this, has lights in the yo-yo

It helped that the Smothers Brothers had their own variety show back then and one of them was a very good yo-yoer. he would do a yo-yo act on every show.
LMAO, to be the best in the world at something and only make $300 out of it.

I don't recall any yo-yo craze in the mid-late 80's. I do remember the yo-yo craze of the late 70's though. The yo-yo exhibition team came to our school at the time, and the next day, every kid in school had a yo-yo. Then it was a teatherball craze, then a frisbee craze. The 70's was a blast.
He doesn't even walk the dog...guy can't yo yo for shit.
