World will love America if Ron Paul became President

If I understand it right, Ron Paul wants to pursue friendly relations with other countries without intervention in their domestic affairs, lowering temperature of anti-Americanism in the world. That would help preserve our liberties at home without the need for over reaching government intrusion into our lives in the name of security. He is not an isolationist. His policy will be more like anti 'incite and barricade' policy.

If Ron Paul had his way, US will be close to Canada near the top on this list of most liked countries in the world and not 3rd from bottom in negatives. Check out this current BBC Poll, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6421597.stm

According to this poll, the World would elect Ron Paul: http://www.whowouldtheworldelect.com/

Teh terrersts will lay down their arms, the lion will sleep with the lambs, and shit will no longer stink if Ron Paul is elected...:Disgust;

Seriously, what does it matter who the rest of the world prefer in your poll? What matters is who AMERICANS prefer...and from the look of things, it ain't Ron Paul...

Actually, in that poll, Ron Paul is currently winning by a landslide, even among U.S. voters.

Current votes from U.S. in the poll:
41,678 votes for Ron Paul
2nd place is Barack Obama with 9618 votes.
The next highest Republican is Fred Thompson with only 1360 votes.

I find it interesting that the one country where RP is losing by more than 20 votes is China (where the internet is censored).

But how many Americans other than RP supporters are voting in that poll? Odds are, NONE.

Honestly, I do like some of what he says, (just like I did with Ross Perot) but (1) he's a Rebublican, and (2) he's from Texas, both of which "stick in my craw." While he seems to be growing some support, I just don't see him getting the Republican nomination.

In another thread, Lemon Law sais:

"even if Ron Paul does not win, his ideas may force
modifications of the thinking of mainstream parties and will resonate well past just campaign 08. And is very likely to inspire new generations of candidates to carry on the message even if Ron Paul himself cannot."

MAYBE in a perfect world, politicians might pay attention to the message Dr. Paul is trying to spread and learn from it, but IMO, our policitians are all so beholden to their corporate masters that change won't happen in our lifetimes.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Something tells me if the World loved America instead of hating it as it does now, then we wouldn't have terrorists that would want to attack us.

QFT.

Paul spammers are paid to "vote" in all these polls, spam the shit out of everyone's email, write favorable opinion pieces, et al.

As for "World Will Love America" ... give it up. Bill already is using that line for Hillary and it isn't gonna work.

Are you really so naive as to think that if RP is elected that will change? The "terrerists" have been attacking American interests for decades, IMO, more of less because of our support of Israel. (the old "any friend of my enemy is my enemy too")

I don't give a damn what the world thinks so long as I agree with the state of America.

No one is paying Ron Paul supporters to vote in any polls, that can't be said for some other candidates......Romney. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDjPY_ngxNU

Neocons like Hillary will never be able to get the World to love America. Non-Interventionism is the only way that can be accomplished. Non-Interventionism is what Ron Paul supports.

Note: Non-Interventionism is NOT isolationism. There's a big difference.....

Its not about a "line", being a loved nation after WWII didn't hurt us one bit.

How did Ron Paul manage to convince his followers, and apparently "teh world," that he would somehow magically end terrorism against the West?

Do any of you believe that we will ever put a stop to our total support for Israel? Seriously? I hope you morons realize that short of that happening, and it never will, the terrorists will go on fighting the West for all eternity. Not even RP, and his apparent magic wand, will change that.

A positive change in World opinion of America won't happen overnight, but Ron Paul can set us well on our way to recovery.

Just as the terrorists have been attacking American interests for decades, American CIA and our American foreign policy has been attacking the interests of sovereign nations around the world for decades.... I hope you can see the relation.
The best word to describe this relation is a term used by the CIA itself.... Blow back.

In regards to America's support of Israel being one of the causes of our problems, you are correct. Ron Paul would put an end to that, as well as putting an end to the support of any other country. Israel is not exactly helpless. They have over 300 nukes, and it is us who actually holds them back from really "dealing" with their security issues.

They need to be a sovereign nation and not dependent on us. It will better for them AND better for the United States. We need to focus on our country, America!

Ron Paul only cares about the security of America. Let's stop using our tax dollars to prop up socialist governments in chaotic parts of the world while prices skyrocket and our borders remain open here at home.

Peace and trade with all nations, entangling alliances with none.

Actually, that is exactly the platform on which Paul is NOT running.

People who think they need to be saved by their government are voting for Hillary, Obama, Huckabee, Rudy, etc.

And yet the only candidate who wants to leave Israel alone is Paul.

No, I don't believe people who honestly think they need to be "saved" by their government (read: entitlements and handouts) are voting Republican.

In another word , you will vote for the person who leads the pole in CNN , FOX , ABC news so you can be ???

Your the dummy :!

People have the power not the elite minority that you love to so badly defend because idiots tell you who can win and not win.

I didn't know Sean Hannity had an AT account.

I assume you have no proof of your idiotic assertions and are just talking out of your ass, per usual.

Also, I love how the resident P&N fascists consider everyone but themselves nutjobs... never fails to bring the lulz on in spades. Bunch of stone cold crazies.
