I forgot and sent it in ~1wk after the deadline. Noone seemed to care.

Do you speak mandarin? Or cantonese? It just strikes me as peculiar that you would reconize a particular chinese dialect, along with all the other implications in the dream than infer that the US is at war with China, yet not come to that conclusion by yourself. You are afraid of a war with red China, that sort of thing gets media hype all of the time.

everyone has dreams, some of which seem very real and/or scary

that does not mean it is gonna happen, I've had dreams too that felt soooo real, yet the exact opposite happened in real life

True story--back when I first started working in consulting, the first real client project I worked on was with an ACH clearing house based in New York City. Their executive offices were across the Hudson in Jersey, but right on the waterfront. They had a gorgeous view of the Financial District from their office windows.

Anyways, I'm sitting down in a meeting listening to their principal describe something, when all of a sudden I sit up with a start. See, I had been staring at the beautiful view outside, looking at World Financial Center and the World Trade Center. I was kinda zoning out. All of a sudden, I saw something fly right into one of the Twin Towers!!! I was startled...but realized I could still see the object flying. Turns out it was a bird, and it was right outside my window (making it look bigger) and miles away from the Towers. It was just something weird about the morning sunlight, my perspective, and the "shadow" of the bird that made it look like a plane.

The date was September 7th, 2001...

You're in battle with Americans by your side, because that's who you're raised around.

They're mainly minorities, probably because you live in an area with a lot of minorities, or you are one.

The gun is probably an SMG, very common in modern videogames now as a starting gun. Think spec ops games like F.E.A.R. where you start out with one.

Assault the Square is probably from COD 1 and 2. Where you had to do both assualt and then defend.

The tower with the four arched curves reminds me of the mulitplayer level in Halo2.

As for the craters scene, sounds like anothe COD type scenario.

FF to Asia, how do you know it's Mandarin? Well regarless, it's predicited our next war that involves soldiers would probably be either China or North Korea.
