speaking of nazi's

its said that that nazi's had color and we didn't lol

although, i wont say that.. cuz there are a few color photos from an american photographer during the war, but most of his negatives had been destroyed (cannot remember how) before they were published.

very cool,

have you seen the WWI in color on the history channel? that is some very cool footage. I have only caught one of the shows i wonder why the history channel hasnt show it more.

well, war isnt cool at all, but the color pictures themselves are.

Those pictures look extremely good. They haven't been retouched, have they?

The fact color photos were very rare during the WWII era; most were in black and white.

Not really. There were many color photos taken. However, they tendted to be later in the war and percentage wise there are more B&W but I wouldn't call color WWII shots rare.

is this from the smithsonian exhibit? You wouldn't believe some of hte pictures they have.....as far back as the 20's in stunning color.....it's funny because i always think of the colors back then as being grainy and faded like you see in film. It's weird to see them in such high quality from so long ago, and realize colors were just as vibrant then
