I was considering getting this game but I haven't foud any place online. I checked newegg, buy.com, bestbuy, amazon, eboutique, etc. Anyone know where they have this game in stock?
 
I bought WoW over the weekend and I had a hard time finding it in any retail store.
My local Best Buy had a few copies left over and that was it.
 
I haven't seen it or the prepaid cards anywhere, but I've only been to 3 different Best Buy's in the last few weeks...
 
Went to 7 different store in the Philly area and they were sold out! Actually had to call WalMart's and Targets before I found one.
 
You can do a search at bestbuy.com for local stores that have it instock. That's how I found mine.
 
I'm actually looking for an online store because all the stores in philly don't have it and the closest best buy is 30 minutes away. Don't have a car at university either.

After an online search and a B&M search, I ended up with the bestbuy option myself...
 
Best Buy in Windsor, Ontario has some in stock...

Someone told me today that they only made so many boxes at first, and are not making any more until the servers stabalize...

not sure if that's true, but that might be why you cant find a copy.
 
yeah it took me forever to find my copy, Best bet is to keep calling the best buys, ask if and when they will get some in. You can try ebay? 🙂
 
I read that Blizzard is not releasing any more copies to retail until they have their server issues fully resolved.

I saw this too shortly after launch, then Blizzard started selling it in their online store so I assumed the shippments started back up. This morning, I saw a post on the official forums from a Dev saying they weren't shipping any more until they work out the server issues.

Hopefully that'll happen during Thursday's 16hr+ outage.

Its times like that i am GLAD im working instead of sitting at home checking the login ever 10 minutes 🙂
 
oh wow, that's pretty remarkable that they aren't shipping any more copies til they fix the issues they are having...

is this true or just a rumor?
 
Indeed, One of my guildmates is a GM, and he says that untill the problems with the servers are fixed Blizzard is not going to release anymore copys of the game.

The servers were really messed up last night, I logged out to go eat dinner for 20 minutes, and had to wait in a Que line of about 800 people trying to log back in. It took me an hour and a half to log back in to my server.

What server are you?
I'm on Icecrown. When I tried to login last night the wait was about 45 minutes. Excellent!
 
i am still looking, i just missed purchasing it on blizzard, my gay bb tells me its in stock but its never there.
 
A friend of mine just bought a copy off the Blizzard web site a few days ago, and got an e-mail friday, I believe, saying that it had shipped.

Edit: He received it today (Jan 20th).
 
The gamestops here in Orlando have them in stock. And Ebgames is getting them in tomorrow so it seems like they are shipping once again.
 
I picked up a copy at Gamestop tonight and just started playing. So far it looks good. I got to level 7 in one session, and met a few ppl too!
