I started playing back in 2004 and I quit right before the arenas got going. I have a level 52 NE hunter on an inactive account on a PVP server, I'm thinking about returning to the game. I haven't decided if I'd like to use my old character, or start a new one and level up with my buddy. Either way, I'm interested in seeking out some fellow AT friends who may be able to refer me to a guild that can help me get to the top quickly and likes to quest often.

Thanks!

Think the game is dead? I might wait for the expansion pack too... but I think WOW is the best option for the garbage selection of MMO's right now... lol

True.... I have a really awesome PK monk in guild wars, I haven't checked into the expansion pack though. I don't really feel like it will keep my attention very long.

Have you considered a non-MMO RPG? Like Oblivion? Better graphics and and actual ending.

My account just expired this evening... I have a 60 Orc Warrior on Garithos.

Garithos is an excellent server, if you decide to start a new char. Rarely have issues, and it's new enough that you'll find players at all levels and abilities to quest with.

I was in the War Criminals guild, which I was very happy with... a small but tight guild. Unfortunately we merged with a much bigger guild (The Chosen) so we could get in on some end game raids. The Chosen guild is full of 12-14 yr. old gits, that cuss and wine like sailors.

Come back to the dark side!

New content being added all the time, and with Naxx open now, you'll never be bored! Plus you can kill people with CUM

Naxxramas is an awesome dungeon and the only real reason to play that game. That being said, my guild sort of fell apart halfway through, so I'm taking some time off.

why did you quit in the 1st place?

every time i think of rejoining i think of why i quit and thats good enough to keep me from playing again.

btw, the reason i quit was because i refused to do 6 hour raids and grind for faction. that was all that was left for me at 60 and i really didn't want to run through with another character.

I quit because I got my dragonscale leatherworking and realized that I need a full group to kill dragons to get scales that hardly ever drop.... then when I finally amass ridiculous quantities of scales I can craft underpowered armor with no set bonus... oh and did I mention that the armor is basically useless for my hunter? I petitioned on the forum it got a MASSIVE response like 40ish pages and Blizzard replied, we don't care. I'm not really cool with RPG games anymore, I want to be competitive! Going to start an undead preist I think.... any one want to help level me and my buddy up? We're loyal to a good guild.

MMO's can be addictive, so the OP will get hooked and won't be back on the forums for 14 months.

I've never played any of these MMORPG's . In fact I play about 0 hours of video games per week on average. Is WOW a good game to get into for like an hour or 2 per week? Everyone talks about it so I am thinking about trying it out.

EDIT: I shoule add that I was a fan of warcraft II, creating little bustling vilalges and building armies and then attatcking that was fun.

Agreed, it's the best MMOG out there.... sadly. Screw your NE_Hunter_529345729765283692564342, start anew with your friend.

No, it really isn't. The game really is heading towards (or really already has headed towards) mass raiding with 40 players and 10-20 hours a week

On Suramar here.
Have Three alliance 60s and some lowbies.
Raiding guild I was in split up into 2 guilds. I'm trying to help out the original guild, but They pretty much only do 40 mans on weekends now.

I am now leveling up a Troll Hunter and Undead Warlock. Thus far I'm only at level 11 and 13, but I intend to make them my main toons.
I've decided I want to focus on PVP and I don't like queues.

whoa people really play games as a part time job. I can't imagine that.
