I havent played any game in a long time. So i never really upgraded my system.

It is a
mobile 2500 at stock speed and 1.40V
1gig of ram
abit-nf7-s
radeon 9200np
alot of HDD space
Dell 2001fp

Should i upgrade to play this game smoothly? it is the only game i plan on playing and i prolly wont even be playing much. my lil bro will prolly be playing alot. i know he needs a upgrade since he is still using on-board vid.

What is a good upgrade for me and my bro? would a 9600np be enough? i would like passvie cooling since thats what i am use to in noise. maybe a 9800pro with thet artic cooling.

thx

what is this "exclusive in-game pet"? and does anyone know how much the subsription will run or how much the collector's edition will cost? I've always been a huge supporter of all of blizzard's games so I'm pretty excited about this.

I am in beta for this game, and let me tell you, it is probably the best MMORPG to date (all though Guild Wars is f-in awesome too) and I have played them all.

The in-game pets vary between races, such as a cat or cockroach for undead, etc etc, they run about 50 silver, which you shouldn't have to spend freely until at least level 20 or so, so that is a nice bonus, to start off with one...

They are saying if you pay month to month it will be like 13-15$, and if you buy a 6 month sub, it will be 60$, or 10$ a month.

Do these pets do anything? Unfortunately I didn't get to play the beta and I don't believe I can anymore (correct me if I'm wrong).

Also, I'm assuming the general leveling architecture is similar to Diablo 2? As in, you go up to lvl99 or whatever and you can enter/exit the game at will and have your character saved. Also, is there a stash of sorts?

They are running open beta sign ups pretty soon. Other than that, I can't "disclose" too much.

I ordered it earlier this morning but canceled, there's talk that the $29 price is for the strategy guide since Walmart.com also shows the game itself as $49.82.

And, from what I've seen of Walmart, they'll ship you the actual item, i.e. the strategy guide, and you'll get to return it. Not in.

i am pretty sure the regular edition will have a 1 month pass

no other MMORPG has not given you a free one month pass and i think it would be foolish for blizzard to not give a free month for th egame

the collectors edition will have a 10 day free press for a friend + the DVD + sound track + art book + map and special manual + a copy of WoW on DVD and a copy on CD

that is why it is $80

the regular will have a free month , the game and regular manual

I did to. Myself and my two boys :)

are you guys planning on shelling out $45 a month to play this game?

because $15/month seems to be the going rate for MMORPGS these days

something like $10/month , 6 month agreement would be nice as well though

This link leads to the page you get when searching walmart's page for "world of warcraft". The cost is $50. Good luck with your preorder, but it might be a mistake.

Dont believe so. The guide is $17.99 here.
http://www.walmart.com/catalog...x=24&Continue.y=12

If you click on my link it does indeed say game :)

Also look here http://www.walmart.com/catalog...gsp?product_id=3308530 The guide and all the game links are on there.
If you click on the 29 dollar one it says. This game is coming soon. Preorder it today to reserve your copy, and check back soon for game features and details. Also if you notice when you click on the 29 one you will see Video Games in the search bar above the title. if you click on the strategy guide you will see Books in the search bar.

hmm nice deal but if i do end up playing i'll probably pick it up at the store on release day
anyone else notice that gamestop and ebgames have this listed as out on the 15th of november instead of the 22nd? if walmart ships a week later that'd kind of suck
