As long as it's a blizzard product people will buy it and play it no matter how it compares to SWG.

SWG sucks...WoW is going to be awesome from everything I've seen so far, will finally be able to move on from 3 years fo EQ to yet another game when it comes out.

It is indeed P2P, which is unfortunate. I've never minded paying for Blizzard games because of the amount of work that went into them after they were released, and free online play was key. I just can't make sense of a monthly fee on a game.

I'm thinking P2P == peer to peer but that just isn't fitting into the context of an MMORPG. P2P == ?

Online fees may be discouraging, but most people with their eye on it would probably pay 25+ a month to play it because of the hype it has currently. I pay something like 13/month for EQ, and have been for almost 3 years(though they recently raised it from 11/month), monthly fees on all mmorpgs will probably go up again soon to 15ish I'd imagine, and people will still gladly pay for it because it basically offers a second "life". Of course mmorpgs tend to be incredibly addictive, or at least EQ is and WoW seems like it will be, but shadowbane, swg, planetside, ao, ac, uo, just never did it for me. I'm really glad blizzard is spending a long time developing and testing it though, because Sony does a really terrible job of such things with EQ.

I'm planning on upgrading my computer for this game, although it really depends on the monthly charge, anything aove $20 is no go for me ... that's way too much for one game ...

How did you manage that? Do you work for them? I want to beta test this game real bad.

I am on their Blizzard Friend's List from The Frozen Throne beta. This is going to be their largest beta ever though so odds are real good that you can get in on it.
