Asheron's Call 2 did, but it didn't get enough subscribers, the poor folks who put the time in and lost their chars when it closed.

The amount of new content they added "for free" makes the game seem like it had 2-3 expansion packs already. Given though, that some of the new content that was added should've been in the game at launch. ;) Such as the honor system and possibly and Hero classes. I have yet to hear about that though. Their both in the instruction manual when you bought the game at launch, but the Honor system didn't make it into the game till months later and the Hero classes are TBA.

I digress though.. and my bg queue just popped.

Oh wells, even though I'm hardcore GW player I still ordered a copy of the game and a 60-day gamecard with that $10 off deal.
You never know whose birthday is coming up.

If anyone wants a free 14 day trial key for WoW, I have a couple left. PM me your email address (I put it into Blizzard's site and they email you the download link to the client and the key to setup the trial account).

You will need a CC, but if you cancel the subscription before the 14 days are up, Blizzard will not bill you.

You are right and I apologize. I should let you do your own thing. I guess I am just a nerd-hater.

this is Hot Deals, not OT. :p
to each his own...this thread is about WoW at a discounted price . . . not your personal opinion about games.
Personally i find SP RPGs to be the best value - i got hundreds of hours outta Oblivion for $50 inc the plugins - and always check the bargain bin for FPS titles . . . but this is about WoW.
. . . IF i were interested in MMO games, i'd want to know WoW was now discounted. ;)

Looks like this is an MSRP drop. Pretty much all stores should have it at $19.99 as regular price now.
