definitely, saw it in the theaters, if you like the retro sci-fi backdrop replete with mad scientist you'll enjoy the movie.

I really didn't like the movie. It was cool, but the acting was horrible, and so was the story.

Could have been a good movie, but settles to be somewhat entertaining. If you're bored or curious, get it. Sort of like Hero in that it's best feature is its visual art.

It's cool, especially if you enjoy the 1950's sci-fi feel. Ebert loved it for that reason.

Renting yes, theatres no.

Saw it in the theatres, didn't have high expectations, and I came away not impressed so I wasn't disappointed

Good effects, bad acting/plot (holes) in front of a blue screen. kinda like casshern :)

I won't go so far as to say that I'm sure the bad acting and plot holes were intentional, but they might have been. This film is an homage to older serials that were filled with bad acting and plot holes. It isn't supposed to be War and Peace. Personally, I thought it was a great movie. A good majority of the critics on Rotten Tomatoes thought so as well, which doesn't mean that I'm right; it just means that other intelligent people liked it as well.

If you are into sci fi with a retro look, then yes. No Oscar caliber but a decent movie. I think it could have been much better with a better scrip and actors.
