World of Goo

World of Goo is an awesome game for only $15. It's the next generation of Lemmings. I'm only 1/4 the way through it, but the art, controls, and gameplay are all very well done. There is also a nice bit of humor from the "Sign Painter" as well.

Anyone else play it?

I have it on the PC and its pretty sweet so far. I only started playing it last night, but I know I'll be playing more of it, especially because its not a huge time sink.

Just played the demo for a few minutes. I don't like how it's not obvious what can be done with the goo. Sometimes I grab an area and drag it out to build and nothing happens. Other times, it works and the structure expands.

Its a nice relaxing game. I hate how after Mega Man 9, Tetris Party and World of Goo I have 300 wii points left which is basically useless.

Really loved that game - gets a bit crazy towards the end, but nothing so unreasonable that it's no longer fun. The final chapter is very cool, very unexpected.

I'm now stuck in world 2. It's the red carpet one. I dont know how to push the button down to release the giant face...

still awesome 🙂
