World in Conflict - How the heck do I create a server?

I'd like to convince my friends to pick up this game, but they would like to know how the multiplayer works.

We usually just like to play games with eachother vs. bots... So I would like to create a private server with a password, so only we can log on to the game.

Now, I downloaded the server "installer", and ran it with the update. But my "create" server list in the multiplayer menu is still greyed out.

Anyone have some step-by-step instructions how to get this going?
