all christians?? its not that big of an issue
the other thing is that many of the leaders of these various countries where people go hungry are corrupt. it might not be the only reason, but its one of the major causes of hunger

Sadly, about 24,000 people die from the effects of hunger each day. (That's 8,760,000 per year!)

Why does it take a catastrophic event to bring out the compassion when tens of thousands are dying every day?

I misspoke. I mean a lot. If all those protestors used the same energy to raise money and food for the starving, it would make a gigantic difference.

Let's blame it all on Christians now. I hope you realize that nearly half of Christians are stupid liberals, just like you.

The result of European colonialism. You would think that Europe would learn to accept GM food so that starving nations can then use it without fear of retaliation from Europe. But, that's against most of Europe's politics.

It is a result of poor food distribution. The world currently produces enough food to feed everyone if we want to. Of course that will change in time.
