Workout help

I used to hit the gym semi regularly last year, but basically I'm pretty new to lifting. Do any of you have a workout that you perform maybe 3 times a week or 45 mins or so. I was thinking of something like one day arms, one day chest, one day legs. Is that a good plan and if so what kind of excersises should I do for each one? thanks a lot for you help

The age ol' routine:

Back and Bis
Chest and Tris
Legs and Shoulders

Throw in abs when you can, and cardio on the off days.

Ignoring muscle groups (especially back and shoulders) will give you an odd looking figure.
