Hey all, been a long time reader of the main site so i figured it was time to join :D I recently just finished a build and i figured i would share it, first here are the specs

I7 2700K (currently at 5.0 but im still going up)
8GB G.Skill DDR3 1866
Asus Maxiums IV GENE-Z
2x Crucial C300 128GB RAID0
2x Powercolor 6970 LCS (will do 1020/1500)
Corsair AX850
Mountain Mods H2Go

Watercooling
Swiftech MCP35x
Swiftech Apogee XT
All bitspower compression fittings
primochill 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing
ek blocks on the gpus came with the cards
GTX 240 rad
RS240 rad
dual 5.25" Bay res
Lamptron FC6 fan controller inside the case

Oh and I called it Mini Me because I did a build focused around a Mountain Mods U2-UFO not that long ago and this is like a mini version of it

Wow! great built. I love the sleeving as well. Someday ill have the funds for compression fittings and such.

Are you finding 2x240's to be enough with that i7 and dual GPUs? What temps are you seeing during load at those OC settings?

Still working on the clocks so i havent been paying too much attention but my 2700k running IBT was at 50c on the coolest core and 59c on the hottest core (i might have to reapply the thermal paste lol)

I had a I7 920 and the 6970s on a single slim 360 for a while so the 240s should do a little better then that. i think ill be ok as long as i keep the fans at a decent speed

LOL <3 the mini... :)

Mini projects are fun... but no one understands how difficult it is until you actually tried to build one... especially with water inside...

yeah i thought about a third gpu in there (obviously i would have needed a different board) but 2x 240s wouldnt be enough imo for 3x gpus and a cpu, i could add another 120 but i dunno

edit: you guys have any suggestions for improving this? im always looking for ideas to take it to the next level and improve
