I have four interviews this week with some heavy-hitter companies, but I'm working right now, part time at a civil engineering research firm.
On one of my applications that I was sent before the interview, you have to list your current employer, etc., but there's the field for 'is current employer aware of your job search?' Now, it was implicit when I took this job that they're not paying market value for me, so I don't feel bad about it, but I also don't want my boss to be receiving calls already, so if I check 'no', is that a bad thing in the eyes of the company that I am applying for?
