working overtime on probation

okay, we have been working 10 hour days and were asked to come in every other saturday for 8 hours. I am in still on my 90 probation with the company. I came in at 11 (because i had a 5k run that was prescheduled) and i have worked 4 hours. My boss worked around 5 hours and then left. After he left, 3 co-workers cut out also. This leaves 2 more workers here with me. One will leave in about 30-45 mins and he has been here since 11 also. The other has been here since 9am and he will probably work 8 hours. He is the type of person that would complain if i go home early and he doesnt get to go home. Although, i do not have many open work orders (3-4) and he had 11 when he came in today. Do you think it would matter if I leave after 5 hours and he rats on me? what would you do?

explain this 'probabtion with the company'

odds are I misundertood it to a great extent...

means i am still in the first 90 days of being with the company. I have done nothing wrong, but i am still new...so they call it "probation" for 90 days.

Don't leave early. Just bill them.

although, i was asked to put in the long days and every other saturday...even though my contract says 40 hours.

OH GOD. i think BOTH are leaving just now. woo woo. That leaves me last one left.

90 days probation with a new company = you are a NOBODY. Just suck it up and do what you have to. Do extra if need be.

Don't leave. What if a boss or someone else high up calls. You should hang out to tell them you are the only one there.
