I've been working out for three weeks.

I started out at 6'3" 152 lbs. (skinny, i know, but that's exactly what I weighed.)

After three weeks of working out about 40 minutes 4 days a week, I've dropped probably 70% of the fat and gained 6 pounds. Today I was working my upper body and started noticing my arms getting noticeably bigger (especially right after the workout.)

Its encouraging. I'm adding mass, and its not that difficult!

Just wanted to share my good news :)

you're really not offering us much info here :p

Mondays and Thursdays are upper body (chest, arms, back, some shoulders)
Tuesdays and Fridays are lower body, abs, and some different shoulder excercises.

While that's not what I'm concentrating on, I am excersizing my lower body regularly, doing leg press, whatever that machine is when you step up on your tiptoes on an incline with heavy weights, and the machine that works your quads. That's about all i'm doing there.

squats are one of the best exercises you can do. You have to train the entire body not just specific parts.

WOW. 6'3 150lbs is really skinny man! You should be up in the 185lbs or at least 205lbs. You'd make a great light-heavyweight.

For skinny guys, you need to Eat, then eat, and then when you're full... eat some more. ~200g of protein a day for you is a decent bulking diet.

Eh... I think i'd rather start off slim and bulk up than start off heavy and have to get rid of all that fat...

ebay if you're bold :D

No joke, when i used to load i got creatine 1/3 retail, xenadrine rfa-1 (did they bring that back yet?) at 1/2. of course, GNC "retail"is marked skywards anyway.

Don't forget that cardio :) I used to do weights only, but you won't believe how good you feel if you do cardio regularly for a month. 40 minutes without cardio sounds like a reasonable workout, but for me leaving the gym in less than an hour fifteen makes me feel shorted. i usually do a 3 mile split, 2x 7.5 min miles, 1x 6.5 mile.

EDIT: heh, when i used to do supplements, wheyprotein + creatine cocktail started tasting good. that's when you know you should stop. helped me break plats more than a few times, but i don't think i could ever get back into the loading routine.

Skinny indeed. I'm 6'4" and weight 235lbs (I was at 260 2-3 months ago! :) ) the minimum weight I want is 220, under that, I'll be too skinny.

Don't believe what the BMI says about your ideal weight. For someone of my height, I should weight between 165 and 205lbs... Yeah, right...

What suppliments are you using? Did you change your eating habits? There is no way in 3 weeks you have dropped 70% of your body fat. If you did that man then you need to get a plan and sell it to people. Everyone would do that.

I work out 5 days a week, biking, running, swimming, and lifting and I have never had drastic changes like that. Plus it takes about 2 to 3 months before you start seeing major changes in your body and espically fat areas.

Def post your routine and man start making some money. Only other way is are you taking roids? Plus your arms will be bigger after any upper body work out. Then they go back down.

Keep at it but I just don't see how you could see so much of a change in just 3 weeks unless you already had no body far already. Working out is my life and I have never heard or had changes that drastic but keep it up.
