Working Out question

Sluggo

Lifer
I know that if you are working out with weights that you need to give your muscles a day or so rest between, sessions. Does this some theory apply if you are just working out with your own body weight (sit-up, pull-ups, push-ups etc.?) Do I still need to take a break, or can I do it every day?

Depends on the muscle group and not so much on the method of working out. Legs and abdominals can be moderately worked every day. Other muscles need rest. You can work out every day if you wish, just work out different muscle groups.

Work out your abs (different crounches, knee raises, etc) like there is no tomorrow every single day, if you keep up, in three months you should have a nice looking six pack, man I tell ya, that feels good!!

i think as long as your nice sore or you don't feel like you're going to pull a muscle or anything, you should be ok

I can go across the street and have a nice looking six pack in 10 minutes.🙂

I work the abs every day, then alternate between upper and lower body, with cardio every other day.
Mansnake is right..there is nothing better then looking down and seeing rock hard abs after you worked your ass off to get them =]
