Working on Veterans day people sign in

Yup, my boss called me yesterday and left a message telling me to get my ass in the lab on Friday, so here I am, ne... umm... posting away on ATOT. +1
 
We get Columbus day off, but not Veteran's day. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not bitching because I *do* get good holidays off, like Columbus day, but I'd much rather have Veteran's day off...

yeah i just got in, looks like a half day, im working all weekend anyways since part of the company is mine and we gotta getr done. i'll watch some band of brothers though in memory of the fallen.
 
I'm here - but my boss came around yesterday and told all the vets in our office (most of us) that we could "work from home" tomorrow :thumbsup:

IThere's some stuff that I really wanted to get done today, so I'm here. But not for much longer 😀
 
I am here at work. I work at a consulting firm with 3 employees and we are all here. My sister works for the state of MA and has off today (along with 4 weeks of vacation a year).

I'm AT work, anyway. I'm pissed too, because I just found out Mt Hood Meadows has free lift tickets for all active duty/vets today. Grrrr! :|

i live in porland for about 5 yrs. yrs ago. graduated from portland state university.
