helpdesk plus various other tasks that need done.....been here for 2 hours and yet to get my first call... edit: not that I'm complaining!
 
I got to do help desk work all this week (excluding today) and I'm in the AF. it seems the higher rank they are (mostly officers) the dumber with computers they get. I mean, they have PhD's and such but they can hardlt send out an email w/o calling for help!

Thanks.... It benefitted my family more for me to join than not to.. with my daughter and wife, it was a strugle working in the Maintance field for $10/hr. We were just bairly making it and thats w/o health insurance.. Plus I joined and became a Computer Programmer in the AF so I got a pretty nice Desk job for the moment. I am begging to go overseas to the desert. Anywhere really, not just the desert but my chance may come here real soon(so I've heard) It's so boring here in texas coding all the time, I want to see places and being a programmer limits me on what I can do.

Blah, I should be ranting like this, when there are som of my friends who didn't get to come home this christmas.

Worked midnight to 8 since tuesday and have to work til next next wednesday. 6 more damn days. :frown:
