How do I make telemarketing (my only real paid work experience) sound glamorous? I sold subscriptions to a newspaper. "Utilized telecom network to advance sales and income?" What do I call the department? "Electronic sales?"

Why do you have to point out that you used "telecom networks"? Why not just say you were in sales. Does the medium by which you pursue those sales really matter?

"Electronic marketing department," and for duties, "Utilized telecom network to facilitate sales and subscriptions" and "Assisted in providing information source to military personnel, including those stationed overseas"
