I'm just curious what type of work other AT users do (ie, programmer, network administration, sales, etc...)

Tech support.

Blech.

:disgust:

The only upside is that most of my friends would kill for the income I have, & they're all older than me.

In the grand scheme of things, though, the pay is a four letter word for fecal matter that starts with S, ends with T, & says HI in the middle.

Well, I am supposed to be a SAN/Cluster server geek. But, right now, I am the automated imaging system l0ser.

Anyhow, cluster server lab technician is my proper title. Woo!

"Senior Validation Specialist" is my official title.

Basically, I test fricken everything in a companies (pharmaceutcial) facility to make sure it works precisely they way it is supposed to. Things never work right the first time so I fix them and make them work properly. So I mess with computer and PLC control systems, industrial equipment of all types, lab equipment, and all kinds of stuff in between.

Right now I'm working some cleaning validations which involve none of the above so I'm just chillin' and writing some reports. Normally, my job is high stress cause everything has to be done "yesterday", even when stuff is massively screwed up.
