So in May or so I should have finished up my degree. I'll be looking for a new job in the networking/system administration field then. I'm planning on looking at the pacific northwest for a place to find a job since it seems like its pretty nice there. My kind of weather, etc. But I also wouldn't mind checking out a different country for a bit either. In particulary the UK could be cool for a couple years, maybe Scotland or Ireland. What are the chances of me finding a job there and how hard would it be to get a work visa or whatever I would need to do so?

You should be able to find a job. I think there's a good market in your field right now. As far as getting a work visa in the UK is concerned, I think you have to get a company to sponsor you first. They have to justify to the UK government why they want to hire you instead of a UK citizen.

Also, make sure you can deal with the weather. I lived in London for half a year, and missed the sun. Here's a quote from the Daily Telegraph:
Met Office records show that this year England and Wales had the sunniest January since 1961, with average sunshine of 2.35 hours a day: 140 per cent higher than normal.

Sun is highly over rated. I like overcast/rainy, thats why I'm also into the pacific northwest ;)

How's the pay scale between here and there usually?

For that matter, anyone know how the internet business is there? Ideally I'd like to work for an ISP or carrier. :)
