Working Computer+A7N8X=Not working computer

I had an AMD XP 3000+,512MB TwinMos DDR-Ram,60GB Western digital calavir,MSI GeforceFX5900Ultra,56kb modem and Cdrw.
I bought an A7N8X deluxe and put everything to together(i did not format&reload).
Now when windows2000 is loading i get this:
Stop:0x0000007B (0xEB81B84C,0xC000034,0x00000000, 0x00000000) inaccessible_boot_device.
And to scan for viruses, remove new hard disks or hard disks controllers.

The drive is working and doesn`t have a virus, the last option is the motherboard or hard controller,is there anything i can do

...umm... so..

k...so you changed your motherboard and you didn't reformat...

man..

of course it's gonna give you an error...go reformat dude 😛 🙂 (c'mon man!)

good rucks!

I`ve had loads of PC`s and have never had to reload just i put in one new part

for the motherboard w/ a different chipset it's essential that you do this.

from my experience, half the time it was successful, but the sideeffect was that windows became noticeably sluggish...the other half the time....the errors ranged from not being able to boot at all, to getting nt blue screen stop errors...

so trust me on this, it will work after you reformat.

DanTMWTMP is right on the money. You can try booting off the XP cd and just repairing the installation but that is also YMMV. A new setup will run its best with a fresh install of windows. Sometimes you get lucky and you don't have to do a reinstall but not very often and if it does work it can be very flakey.

this may sound like a drag....install the drive into the old mobo...go to add remove hardware...go to show hidden files or somthing along those lines (its acheck box on the bottom left) and then uninstall the chipset drivers....and any other motherboard related drivers...like i said a pain the *** but you gotta do what you gotta do
