well, i had the job since june and i loved every moment of it. I am in charge of the web development for my faculty's homepage and also marketing the program to prospective employers who wish to hire from the Co-op program.
In addition to the excellent pay that provides me with a much needed relief for the high tuition fees, its also an enriching experience where I am surrounded by highly intellectual staff. All my prof's office are a 5 second walk away and during lunch time, i get to talk and mingle with them. Now, i know many of the profs very very well as we usually chat through the 1.5 hour break i have everyday.
compared to corporate experience, its a 360 degree change, instead of talking about $$$ and profit all the time, at the university, it is much more acadamically focused, I probly learned more in this summer from all the profs in different faculty than all my other job experience combined!
