They call me either my bosses name, or Jason.
Neither of which are my name. Yet I do the majority of all the work in our department.
My name and position is very visible on a large plastic label on my cubicle.
Sometimes I wonder if they do it on purpose.

Whenever they do it, call them by a different name. When they tell you that you're wrong, tell them they are too.

I will correct them.
So they will say, "Hey Jason, could you get this done for me."
And I will say, "I'm Justin. And yeah did you want that on 11x17 or C size?"
Them, "Oh I am sorry Justin. C-Size please."
Me, "I'll have it in about 15 minutes."
Them leaving, "Thanks Jason."

No sh!t. I am not lying, that happens all the time.

Stop doing the things they ask "Jason" to do. They'll either catch on quick or you'll get fired but either way it will make a great ATOT post.

Take your red swingline stapler and the next time a guy calls you Jason, staple his scrotum to his chin.

I always remember names at my workplace, but for some reason, I cannot remember names of people or friends I meet in public.

I have about 200 people who's names I have remembered in a little over a years time.

I was gonna ask if your name was Justin, because it happens to me all the time (my name is Justin also). Then I read your other post.

Actually, last Sunday was my birthday and my mom ordered a cake. She didn't have time to pick it up, so I went to get it and it said "Happy 22nd Birthday Jason" on it. I was actually going to leave it with the wrong name because I found it pretty funny. I got it changed, they said sorry, and then everyone was calling me Jason for the rest of the night.

I've actually been called by my bosses name also, which is weird because we look nothing alike and our names are nothing alike.
