Work training is a lot more fun with alcohol and music

We have some new printers to work with, & we have to take an electronic intro course to them before they actually hand us a screwdriver & turn us loose on turning $2,000 machines into a collection of parts.

Normally these are done in a classroom, & they are notorious for being boring.

This time they decided we'd be better off doing them at home to avoid spending time at work doing them.

So, I have up to two hours to finish these.

I find the printer hardware interesting, much like PC hardware, but the web based stuff is entirely too simple for me. Give me a screwdrive and a parts diagram, I'd be much happier.
With good music & good gin, though, these training courses are tolerable. And for once I'm making decent money (OT).

Perhaps, but music and alcohol cost money.

I can think of quite a few worse ways to make money than web based training combined with the two.
