Work sponsored training and travelling rules

Just found that I am getting sent to Houston for two days of training. I will work that Monday morning for a few hours and fly out. 2 days of training then a travel day. The best part being that I already have Friday as a vacation day meaning I get basically the whole week off except for a few hours on Monday.

Other than the two days of class I'll probably visit my family since they live down there. I also hope to get some time to play in one of the Hold 'Em tournaments they hold in a private club my dad is a member of. Payout is $1500/night for 1st.

Crazy in the sense that I have never personally lived there. My parents moved down there at the beginning of my junior year of college. 😛

Hopefully better than the most recent tournament I was in. Placing fifth is just not good enough for me. 😛
