Work experience with Sun or HP?

I'm looking at doing a weeks work experience, and eventually going to Uni and doing some IT/CS related degree. At "college" now (In the UK)

Who would be best to do some work experience with, Sun or HP? I don't really know which is "best", and I'm not all that bothered by what they do, so who might offer the best experience?

Can you get a job at any of these now for IT/CS? My guess is it would be pretty hard.

Are you asking which to apply for, or you were given the option and whichever one you pick you work at for a week?

They are both rather popular....in the last datacenter I worked in we had a pretty good even split on our SUN vs. HP equipment. WE served a lot of oracle off of the Enterprise servers (SUN) and a lot of web from the K-Classes (HP) .

HP might be more balanced in terms of many OS's. Sun is almost exclusively Solaris, with a bit of Linux here and there.

I've worked with both equipment-wise. I prefer Sun.
