I have a Dell Precision T3500 here at my office that currently has an nVidia NVS 295. 12 GB of RAM, Intel Xeon W3530.
I work in Engineering and run AutoCAD MEP 2014 and Revit 2014 which are both pretty well taxing on the system. Currently they both bog down quite a bit if I have one or both of the programs open.
My boss has purchased an AMD FirePro V5900 for me for an upgrade and I am just wondering, I know that I have PCIe x16, but the video card says PCIe 2.1. Will I be bottle necked by not having PCIe 2.1?
Thanks a bunch,
Scuba
