The internet service at my house is about 234324 times faster than here at work. We have a 768K dedicated line to share amongst 60+ users at this plant. This company is owned by La-Z-Boy and they can't do better than freakin' 768K down......wwwwwwwwworthless

If the company does not need high speed access why should they pay for it?

That's right. The Internet wasn't installed in workplaces to have people surf all day long and have pages load fast.

stop downloading porn and get back to work 😛

Ha! At work I deal with customers that have integrated T1s and only 2 channels for Internet (128kbps). Be glad your company isn't that cheap.

Luckily since I work for a telco I don't have this problem. 😀

I don't abuse the connection at work, however, When I am using it legitimatly I often get over 10mbit (usually to FTP over some zipped up log files ... file sizes up to like 300MB)
