Here I am in physics club, and we are wondering what one math rod combination means. For example 26 / L of The A mean 26 Letters of the alphabet. Does anyone know what 500 / JR means? No one can figure it out.

completely stumped me... I've done those puzzles dozens of times, and generally answer about 90% without help.. I even tried a google search... nothing. The only reference to 500 I could find was 500 sheets in a ream of paper.

I didn't find any references that would fit from well known song lyrics either.

Yeah, I tried the google search too. My teacher couldn't even get it, and he has been giving this out to physics club students for the past couple of years. It is the only one we cannot get.

29 / L of the A = 26 letters of the alphabet, or 26 / L of the A = 26 letters of the alphabet?

If its your physics class, could it have something to do with Joules

It's not the physics class. It is physics club, and it is sorta an ice breaking thing. Do it for the fun, and has absolutely nothing to do with physics.
