Here I am in physics club, and we are wondering what one math rod combination means. For example 26 / L of The A mean 26 Letters of the alphabet. Does anyone know what 500 / JR means? No one can figure it out.

completely stumped me... I've done those puzzles dozens of times, and generally answer about 90% without help.. I even tried a google search... nothing. The only reference to 500 I could find was 500 sheets in a ream of paper. I didn't find any references that would fit from well known song lyrics either.
