Copasetic -- I heard Adan Schiff use this today during the hearings!
I like the word and how often do you hear it used in everyday talk?
Just cope with it dude!!
But oh yeah I forgot, everybody on these forums have 4 PHD`s and are millionaires!
I read this in Mike Tyson's voice.Copathetic : One is as pathetic as the other.
What's wrong with protean? Builds muscle.I've always been a fan of "Protean."
I try to pepper that into as many of my conversations as I can, just for the extra-special douchey effect.

Or malarkey...or...could it be that youse young whippersnappers don't know words us curmudgeons have used for decades?
Where do we go to keep abreast of modern slang without coming across as creepy?Or malarkey...

I used it today. Was on a call using my cellphone and she said I'm right behind you. I didn't think she meant that literally, but when I turned and saw her I said, "you meant that literally." Is there something wrong with that?Word of the decade, or maybe half decade, should be "literally." I literally want to delete that word from English language.

Proselytize (from google - define proselytize) -
convert or attempt to convert (someone) from one religion, belief, or opinion to another. "the program did have a tremendous evangelical effect, proselytizing many"
Well, preaching would be included in the 'convert or attempt to convert' part. But I think in the past it tended to imply success.Highly erroneous example from Google. The word is synonymous with preaching. One would not say " preaching many ". One proselytizes a belief.
edit - I do however believe that this is one of those words that will eventually follow common usage.intransitive verb
1: to induce someone to convert to one's faith
2: to recruit someone to join one's party, institution, or cause
