A little while ago i got this message that said auto recovery saving was being postponed(or something like that). Now it won't let me save the document i'm working on. got any ideas on what is wrong?

BTW i posted this in the software forum but not too many ppl go in there so i thought i'd try here.

thanks,

This is a test. This is only a test. Were this an actual bump, the word "bump" would appear on your screen. As that has not happened yet, this can not be a bump.

I'm afraid I cannot answer your question about Word's error message, nor help you to save the file. But remember that even if you cannot save the file, you can almost certainly highlight all the text and, using ctrl-c, save the text to the clipboard, and thence to Notepad. You will lose your fonts and formatting, but at least your text will be safe, and you will not have to totally re-create your document.

This simple technique saved my hindquarters once when I was preparing a lengthy curriculum, and WordPerfect decided it wasn't in the mood to save anything that day.
