Word for Mac doesn't open forms from Word for PC properly

I use both Word for Mac and Word for PC on my same macbook so I have a work-around. However; many of our Mac only associates cannot open forms from Word made on a PC properly.

All the fields open as images and get truncated.

Anyone know a workaround in Word for Mac to open these properly?

This may sound silly. But are you all using the same format and/or version? What version of Office are we talking about here?

Just figured it out...they are using ActiveX form controls which are not supported in Mac versions.
