Word 97 problems under 2K?

I am running Office 97 (SP2b) under Win 2K (SP3). Since switching from 98 to 2000, Word 97 has been crashing regularly on both my machines (one AMD, the other Intel). Sometimes it crashes when I try to print a document, othertimes when I'm working in another program like IE or PowerDesk, although I can't say it's limited to just those three situations. Since it happens on two very different machines, I assume this is strictly a software problem.

Has anyone else been having this problem or have an idea how to solve it?

Office 97 works fine on my Win2k SP3 box. It's possible that upgrading from 98 to 2K caused problems.

Check out Q254250 for info on how to completely remove Office. Then reinstall it.

Win 2K was a clean install. No upgrade. The same on both machines.
