Word 2010 - Force Paper Size?

We receive alot of documents from areas where A4 is the default paper size.

Is there a way to make Word 2010 (or any other program for that matter) automatically convert the A4 size to Letter?

Now we have to manually change the setting with each document, I was asked to see if there was a way to have it done automatically.

So I'm asking the collective knowledge of AT in addition to putting my Google skills to the test.

Thanks in advance.

Close all documents and programs, open the printer control panel, right click the printer preferences and select a default paper size.

Depending on your version of Windows and printer type, the location of the default paper size can vary. For Windows 7 and an HP LaserJet 2800 series I have on this desk, the location is:

Right-click printer > Printer properties > Advanced tab > Printing defaults button

Good luck!
