Word 2010 document opens with different format in Citrix XenApp

I have a user that has an issue where when she opens Microsoft Word 2010 while logged into a Citrix Virtual Desktop, the format for the Word documents changes from what it is supposed to be. If that same document is opened with the Word program on her machine, it opens correctly. The file in both instances is the exact same file located on her local machine. I have gone through all the settings and options in 'File / Options' and compared the two programs to see if there was a difference in settings, but they all match.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

How exactly is it different?

Some of the formatting gets moved over as if the margins on the right side have been increased. But the weird thing is that it only happens to a couple of the lines and not all.
There is a list on one of the documents for example:

If opened from the Word progam on the computer, it will open like:
1: Houston Texas
2: Dallas Texas

If opened from the Word program inside the Virtual Desktop, it will open like:
1: Houston Texas
2: Dallas
Texas

It behaves as if there is a column break and not enough room to fit the everything on one line, but only for some. There are words with more characters that don't get affected by the format change, and the margins are all at 0.0"

Adjust the margins on the document and printer. Word is opening it and adjusting it because the margins and page sizes don't match.

Ok, I checked the margins on the desktop version and virtual desktop version and they matched. So it wasn't that. Another thing of note that was weird. It would actually add tab spaces in between words randomly. Weird.

First off, thanks 'imagoon' for the quick responses, I really apreciate it!!! : )

Ok, figured out the issue. It was 'Compatibilty Mode'. The documents were Word 2007 being opened in Word 2010. I noticed the compatibility mode up top and thought what the hell, I'll convert it. Sure enough, once I converted the documents to 2010, it corrected the problem. All tab spaces and other errors were corrected. Hope this helps anyone.

Yeah that would do it. Also make sure the compatibility tools installed on the Citrix server are up to date also.
